Last night’s talk from Pastor Ben. Great thoughts on moving away from a mentality that says, “We should,” to one that says, “We want to!”

This week’s sermon us up.
My daughter and I read Genesis through Judges, and then we start over again. It’s a children’s Bible, so it doesn’t take long.
Lately, I’ve noticed how Moses and Joshua, arguably two of the most notable leaders in Biblical narrative, were told to be courageous. God used this phrase over and over, “Be strong and courageous…Do not be afraid…”
I take comfort in this observation. Leaders who knew God, not just about God, needed continual reminders of God’s presence. They also needed continual reminders to be courageous and bold.
How do you think we should reconcile boldness and courage with a realistic view of our situation.
